Comet’s Dust is here!!

My repertoire includes many styles like jazz, rock, dubstep, drum n bass, and chill-out downtempo. But my first electronic love has been ambient space music. “Towers of Light” from the album Utopian Rhapsody by Crista was the very first song I heard. I have scoured the internet many times I cannot find this album anywhere. The song was the very first featured on the Hearts of Space radio show for the week of February 1st, 1985 titled Liquid Dreams. As I mentioned in my video interview (below) Return of the Comet by David Lange was the inspiration for Comet’s Dust. The show also featured songs from Desires of the Heart by artist Chris Spheeris. I purchased Desires on vinyl and the song “Processions” was not included. It was replaced by “Field of Tears”.  I wrote Chris and asked him where I could find that song.  He graciously mailed me a cassette version of Desires of the Heart which included the song.  I had also asked him about his music and whom his influences were.  Spheeris gave me some insight on how he approaches writing with fire and passion into his music.  He also mentioned that one of his influences was Paul Voudouris.  Years later I saw a few releases they did together.  I hope some day I get to collaborate with my influences.  Thus I became a long time fan of Chris Spheeris.

Many thanks to Dave Luxton of Wayfarer Records for believing in me and my music, and Jason Schoepfer of Rocky Mountain Sounds for producing the release and providing killer sounds from his Polar Ice X and Acturus (Allen Polley) sound-sets for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2.

Special thanks to Michael L. Rogers (Eleon) whom has guided me through the in’s and out’s of the music business and creating beautiful album art for me.  He is a phenomenal artist and we are collaborating on a song on a future release.

I hope you enjoy Comet’s Dust. Please consider listening to my other releases too. Thanks and God Bless you.
